I don't do take out - I just wanted good healthy food choices for meals for my kids, just like if I was on a diet and I was looking for good healthy diet options.

I think you're looking for a way to excite your kids into eating healthy foods. I'm guessing that's why you're turning to new ideas, because they are getting board with the old ones. I recommend just changing the way you prepare the foods, slice apples differently, cut sandwiches out with cookie cutters to get a smart shape. If you cut their carrots vertically, try cutting them horizontally. Be creative!

If you are American then most all kids meals in fast food(except Subway) are fattening. The best thing is just to make them a healthy meal. It could even be cold cuts on whole wheat bread and carrots, apples and milks.
If you must go out to eat order something like a salad or grilled chicken (honey mustard , no mayo) for them and a toy on the side. Don't let them drink pop, just water or milk.
