If I left these shores which I have done for years at a time, I try to blend in and I change many of my habits that would be the norm here in England. If the English allow people into England should they not to a large degree attempt to Anglophile themselves? I personally cannot comprehend a system who allows itself to be taken to court over a female teacher attending her post dressed heat to toe in black, with a slit allowing just her eyes to be seen. Most of these Muslim teachers in London are backward and away from their subject, ignorant of the modern world. Cat Steven's however, is amazing and does so much good in the name of Islam. We must not allow our pathetic leaders to force us to do anything other than stand our ground and call a halt to this current lunacy. We welcome you, we accept you, we shall allow you to prosper but we expect a degree of loyalty.

This subject is not done to death as some people that want to keep it quite think, if you were surrounded by these things each and every day it's hard to ignore, the sooner they head back to Mecca their homeland, the better. If not they should go Rome and see how they get on insulting the Pope there.

A little confused with your question. England broke with Rome during the reign of Elizabeth the First.
I have never even seen a Muslim woman wearing a veil, let alone a mad Muslim woman wearing one.
However, joking apart, I get your drift. I think you are asking why people are not assimilating into the culture they have chosen to adopt and this is a fair question. One is either a part of the country's culture or they are self exiled aliens. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem anyone willing to encourage the Muslims to assimilate, neither do the Muslims(in my opinion at least)seem willing to do anything other than try to get us to assimilate!

yes we are undergoing a period of lunacy. The tolerance of, or indifference to individual beliefs and habits that was such a part of our culture, and of which I am so proud, seems to be being undermined by ignorant, knee-jerk, Daily Mailisms!
Don't get me wrong, I do not support Islam any more than I support any religion, it is all silliness. And I do think the veil is misogynistic and oppressive. But simply to forbid the wearing of it is clumsy bullying, and completely Un-English.

The UK has gone to pot, if I had the money, I'd leave tomorrow. I am fed up with having to be PC all the time and seeing the lunacy of judges handing out absurd sentences to murderers. This country is a time bomb waiting to happen!!

Ah! this is Multiracism get used to it. But I believe they should remove them in Banks and any security areas. Didn't one of the UKs most wanted men hide for several weeks as a muslim female? prooves your point and look at the rukus in France no veils in schools, didn't stop them going did it. I believe its to prevent polution of fugly women.

When in Rome, do as Romans do. When in Britain, do whatever and call it religious freedom.

Liberalism is the culprit.
Same problem we yanks are having over here.
The idea of "diversity at all costs" is utterly insane------ and the fault of the libs.
