when I get on my knees to pray, wonder why?

I pray for my family, friends, the palistinians. all kinds of things, peace. the list is long. I have seen miracles in my life.

Getting on your knees before God is a sign of worship...it is a universal sign of submission and respect to a king, also....and we respect Him as our King.
I also always found that getting on my knees helped me to concentrate on what I was saying to Him that much harder...It made me very aware that I was speaking with God.
I am older and have had damage to my knees that prevents me from getting down on them these days....and I miss that immensely....but I bow to Him in my heart when I pray.
I will be most glad to receive my new body in heaven for the very reason that I will once again be able to kneel to Him and show Him my love and respect. I look forward to that very much.

there are many reasons first it shows the prayer is not just from the lips but that you are humble to the mighty one
respect
2 you are more in contact with the earths magnetics ,earthed if you will ,it strengthens the signal
3 you are looking up when you kneel god is better able to see you
4you are more focused on what you are doing and more clear about who is god and who is man
5 you have learned gods language of prayer better over time practice makes perfect
6 dont wonder why ,thank god he is listening
7you are doing great ,are you ready to teach/witness for god
the prayer is mans highest reason and purpose ,we are unique ammong our creation in the humble prayer for others

I don't know why one of the answerers would say, "what's the question?" This is a profound question and good for you that you know that on your knees is where God wants you to be....I know many people who have kneeling rails at home...

Maybe this brings you to be more 'intune' with His Holy Spirit and maby you are asking totally in His Will and for His Purpose LOL!!!
