No, because Paul said she must cover her head and keep silent in the church.
1 Timothy 2:12
I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent.
A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. (1Timothy 2:14)

The Book says that Elijah was the greatest man that ever
lived. But he was still a man, and had the passions of a man.
The Apostle Paul was the greatest Apostle. Because he learned from Jesus after He had acended into spirit.
To be inspired means to be given a thought from which to write.
But once one writes, they use thier own knowledge and
understanding.
Not everything in our Holy Writings came directly from the mouth of God. The writers sometimes voiced their own point of view.
CASE IN POINT.
Paul was talking about a custom of a man keeping his head
uncovered, and the women keeping hers covered.
Humans tend to exaggerate in order to be RIGHT. Paul
clearly exaggerated while trying to push this custom, when
he said, "Doesn't nature show you a man shouldn't have, long hair?"
It's natural for a mans hair to grow. In fact, the male is
often more beautiful than the female in nature. Look at the
Cardinal. The female is grey, and the male bright red. Or the
lion, the female having no mane , and the male with with his
mane.
If one reads the whole chapter there, they will see that the
Holy Spirit finally speaks to Pauls heart and says, CHILL OUT!
And then Paul says, the CHURCH does NOT have that custom.
Paul said for a man to treat a woman like his own body. So
I feel the few chauvanistic remarks Paul made in scripture
about women should be ignored.

The Bible doesn't consider women very hightly. It comes from an outdated patriarchal society that considered women to be property.
1 Corinthians
14:34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law.
14:35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
1 Timothy
2:11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
2:12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

In 1st Timothy, Chapter 3 it speaks of the qualifications of a bishop which can be interpreted as pastor or preacher. From my point of view it makes no mention of how a woman can fill this position but only a man.

close look at Paul's writings clearly anws that. especially in the books of Timothy.
Women (new testament) ought to have a head covering if there are no QUALIFIED elders or (brothers in the congregation) present to have prayer or instruction. So answ is in general NO the bible does not support women to get this-- Lead the congregation. It does support their role to help teach, and when above conditions exist, wear a head covering.

No. In Paul's letter to the Corinthians he states that women should be silent in church and are forbidden from teaching the word of God to large groups of men. They can teach children, other women and mentor small groups of men as missionaries though. This came about because the first person who sinned against God was Eve, a woman. Because of Eve's sin women cannot be trusted to lead the church.
The only occupation the Bible forbids for women is leading a church. I go to a strict Southern Baptist church and one of the female board members is a retired U.S Army General. God does not frown on women leading major corporations, being police officers, doctors, etc. We just can't be ministers.

You are going to get both ends of the spectrum on this one, but here's the way I see it...
If God didn't want women to preach, why did He annoint women like Joyce Meyers, and Paula White to do just that. They are just two in a long line of annointed women preachers.
I do, however, believe that if men were obedient to God in every aspect of their lives the way He wants/wanted them to be, women would not have had to pick up certain roles and responsibilities God intended for men to fill.
One also has to remember to read the bible in context, to just take some things Paul wrote out of context is a little short sighted in my opinion.

All of the above we are all Kings and Heirs to the Throne, the angels envy our position in Christ, as Jesus died for us sinners and not for the angels. In Heaven there is no sex,but I'd personally prefer a man to be the leader and me the help-meet.

The first sermon after the resserection of Jesus may have been short but it was given by a woman.
This is one of the most important sermons EVER!
The sermon? "He is risen!"
The woman? Mary!
Read the book!
