Weather can be a huge factor and exposure to dry air. Also as we age we tend to get dryer skin. Beauty is from the inside out so drink lots of water. Caffeine beverages and alcohol both rob the body of fluids. So if you drink those you need to up your water intake even more. Also follow a good skin care routine. Always wash the face before going to bed which rids it of grime and dirt from the air and makeup is a must. Then put on a good moisturizer. It does not have to be an oily one to benefit your skin.

I agree with all the answers so far. I would just like to add there are also skin conditions that are caused by bacteria. You can pick them up anywhere. If the solutions above by others do not work then contact your doctor. Some conditions require medication to clear up. Good Luck!

Although your skin is external and affected by climate all the nutrients needed to fight dry skin or any skin complaint comes from inside, try eating more fruit and drinking more water, you will find that you have less of a problem.
