With a menu like that you can come and cook for me anytime.
Today I'm cooking a joint of pork, oven roasted so that I get a nice slab of crackling. Roast potatoes, mashed potatoes, roasted parsnips, carrots, green beans, mashed carrot and turnip, peas and sausage meat stuffing. This to be topped with a nice thick gravy made from the meat juices and vegetable water.
Afterwards, if I've any room, apple pie and cream, or ice cream.

Roast Beef, Yorkshire Pud, mashed potatoes, roast potatoes, carrots, cabbage, green beans and gravy.
followed by a magic lemon pudding. (hope it's ok never done it before)
One problem, well my Dad always comes on a sunday and I telephoned to see where he was as he was half an hour late, which is unusual. Well for the very first time ever we forgot to put the clocks back.
Dinner has now been put on hold, luckily i'd only cooked the meat.

We usually have a roast on Sundays but it takes quite a while to prepare so I opted for beef cooked in red wine (that I cooked yesterday) served with pasta or rice and french bread.

Slow Roast Leg of Lamb rubbed in crushed garlic, cumin and rosemary, with cream potatoes, roasted sweet potato, steamed organic carrot and brocolli..... (the lamb smells divine!)
For dessert.... apple crumble with creme anglais.... apples from my trees.
Lots of wine and 5 friends to add to the mix.
