has anyone tried toad in the hole in a slow cooker if so please give a recipie.

no you cant the yorkshire pudding would not rise and go crispy it would go flat and very stodgey stick to the oven for this one

You had better forget that one as I would say definitely not. If you do not have time to make a large toad in the hole, just put a cocktail sausage in patty tins, fill up with the batter, then put in a hot oven for about 20 minutes. Serve with mash potatoes and gravy.

NO! It would cook your 'toads' but not the yorkshire pudding 'hole', which needs a hot oven in which to rise and go nice and crispy!

You could do a nice sausage casserole, though - have you tried it? Yummy!

I wouldn't - how can you have toad in the hole without the nice crispy batter, and you need a hot oven for that.

you would be able to cook your sausages in the slow cooker but not your yorkshire pudding as it needs a really high temp to rise, it would just go soggy and disgusting xx

No way. it needs a high heat to make the batter rise. Oven only I'm afraid

Never tried it but I can't see this one rising/getting off the ground.
