Breakfast -eggs with a cup of veggies [onions, peppers, mushrooms ] mixed in. 2 serving there.
Mid morning - V8 juice [ I love that ] 2 servings there.
Lunch-one cup of salad- 2 servings.
Dinner-2 half cup servings of veggies- 2 servings.
This is NOT a menu plan .Just a way to add veggies. Remember that just a 1/2 cup is a serving. That is a small amount.

A serving is measured usually as a half cup. For example the right amout of brocolli would be the size of a light bulb, raw carrots about the size of a baseball. If eaten raw most veggies are more nutrutious. The serving of 6 -9 includes BOTH fruit and veggies. If you have an orange or an apple WITH breakfast and then another fruit mid morning and at lunch you have a salad (but not with iceberg lettuce because it has no nutrition) then you are almost finished.
At supper have some squash, carrots, asparagus, spinach (or whatever you like but the darker color the better) and then after supper add some strawberries, mangoes, blueberries with a little Splenda to some low fat icecream or yogurt then you have succeeded for the day
Don't forget, if you eat a bowl of chili at some meal then you have a serving of kidney beans and that counts too.

it rather is my "tenting" pass to approach of marinating rooster products. In a separate bag I additionally marinate broken products of corn on the cob, halved tomatoes, zucchini & yellow squash quartered, pink onion thickly sliced, and grill each and every little thing. Delish! while you're actually not grilling ... I too rejoice with potatoes any way, to boot as a medley of vegetables sauteed in the two a touch butter or olive oil. based upon the veggie, a touch minced garlic extra is likewise intense high quality, to boot as some grated parmesan cheese (clean, no longer pizza packets, lol). I even have an marvelous recipe for stir fried Soba Noodles & vegetables ... in case you have an activity, merely shoot me a email/msg, and that i'll get the recipe to you ... seems such as you merely choose to apply what's handy, so no longer posting. it quite is totally delish, and the recipe is often asked. :)
