I have look at the Iranian hand made carpets and i have look at the Turkey carpets ...i like better the turkey ones and i know know that they are the best in the world,,now can someone pls. tell me in which city in turkey they are made?????????

Thank you all for your answers..now the ones that i have look at are very nice in Dubie and in Iraq and they cost about $6000 a piece for a 5 by 3 feet is this price reasenable or should i just go to Turkey and buy it there???

There are several regions in Turkey where people weave carpets,these carpets are called ''hand made carpets'':They are more expensive than the machine-woven- carpets of course.Generally the designs reveal regional traditions rules or customs.They say girls (carpets are generally made by young girls in Turkey) add their emotions and love to the knots as they weave,too.Therefore the taste you will receive from each carpet will be completely unique.The best ones can be found in Milas ,Uşak,
Kayseri, Kars,Hereke .It's a privilege to have one in your home,so find one and buy it as soon as possible!!

They are mostly made in Middle Anatolia or Eastern part of Turkey in the villages. It is possible to buy them from those area or from the shops in Istanbul with a 10 times more price.
