I notice that most man are seeking woman younger by 10 to 15 yrs than themselves ... to me it's like a parental love ..

Personally, I'm turning 50 next year but most people think I'm only 45. I'm in the best shape of my life, even since high school and more passionate then ever. Most of the online dating groups have pictures of these guys 47 to 52 who look like they are in their mid 60's or older but want to date someone 20 to 40. I look younger than they do. I just don't get it. Most 20 something girls I know wouldn't have anything to do with these guys. I think they are shallow players who are just looking for arm candy to boost their egos.

The reasons why a lot of older men are seeking a woman who considerably younger that they are is partly to recapture their youthful feelings and to see if they still have what it takes to attract a woman. There are also lots of other reasons why someone older seeks someone younger. Maybe they want to be fathers and women their ages just can't or won't have children. Maybe as you say like being a father figure to someone younger. It could also be mid-life crisis.

I don't think that man seek younger woman at certain age. They search for a person full of life and need protection.

Women go through menopause between the ages of 40 and 50, normally. With all the emotional upheaval and the fact that men age a little more gracefully as a rule, I can hardly blame them! I say good on them!!!

From the woman's point of view you've got it right about parental love. Older men are just horny for young women. Do you think they would be turned on by a grey haired old lady? Well, maybe when it's bar closing time.

no its not parental love --- its love of 2 people for each other
its not about age its about how they feel for each other
we seek a partner and if that partner is way younger than we are then they are --- we are mature enough to know what we are doing

Because they think that having a younger woman makes them appear younger. Or it could be that they want to make sure there is some one around to take care of them when they start deteriorating.

not at all young women are attractive some like older mature men it takes two to tangle young guys don't act mature i think this is why Young women some that is like older men that's fact
