3:2] GOD: there is no god except He; the Living, the Eternal.
[3:3] He sent down to you this scripture, truthfully, confirming all previous scriptures, and He sent down the Torah and the Gospel
[3:4] before that, to guide the people, and He sent down the statute book. Those who disbelieve in GOD's revelations incur severe retribution. GOD is Almighty, Avenger.
[3:5] Nothing is hidden from GOD, on earth, or in the heaven.
[3:6] He is the One who shapes you in the wombs as He wills. There is no other god besides Him; the Almighty, Most Wise.
[3:7] He sent down to you this scripture, containing straightforward verses - which constitute the essence of the scripture - as well as multiple-meaning or allegorical verses. Those who harbor doubts in their hearts will pursue the multiple-meaning verses to create confusion, and to extricate a certain meaning. None knows the true meaning thereof except GOD and those well founded in knowledge. They say, "We believe in this - all of it comes from our Lord." Only those who possess intelligence will take heed.
[3:8] "Our Lord, let not our hearts waver, now that You have guided us. Shower us with Your mercy; You are the Grantor.
[3:9] "Our Lord, You will surely gather the people on a day that is inevitable. GOD never breaks a promise."
[3:10] Those who disbelieve will never be helped by their money, nor by their children, against GOD. They will be fuel for Hell.
[3:11] Like Pharaoh's people and those before them, they rejected our revelations and, consequently, GOD punished them for their sins. GOD is strict in enforcing retribution.
[3:12] Say to those who disbelieve, "You will be defeated, then gathered in Hell; what a miserable abode!"

if there is more than one God, our universe will be in chaos. Imagine there are 2 leaders of the same rank in a battle field,
the orders couldnt be the same n these 2 leaders couldnt agree much with each others.
Between God for christians,jews,muslims and buddhist etc there should be one real God.
And God should have superiority--- no one could ever affect Him, even devils as they are all His creation.
God shouldnt have Son.
Why would He inherit human-like characteristics?
If God inherit human-like or any of His creation characteristics then the logic is He is not superior and has flaw thus not a REAL GOD.

Simply because there is only one God to worship to. All others are false gods!

because if you worship too many you will forget one or two of them and the god of say rain, will be insulted and rain down his wrath on you in the form of non wet raindrops. who says its better besides you? what makes worship good? worshipping is a personal belief, not a fact.

Its not better to worship one God persay. Its better to know what you belive and follow suit to that. Christianity is no better than Hinduisim or Muslim or Judisiam or Wicca. People shouldnt compare religions to one another and go "oh well mine is better!". It just causes biased views and narrow minded hatred. If theres 2 gods in your religion. Great. If theres one, Great and if theres a million, well thats Great too.

There is only one God no duality. So there is no point in worshiping some other.He will answer your prayer because no matter who you pray to the ultimate is the one lord

the biggest reason that comes to mind is you cant obey 2 masters
one god of love is a truth
what other god do you really need when the one god of love has grace and light
want him to take away the light
want him to take away the love
want him to take away the truth
which of the one gods gifts would you deney?
