Battery chargers are everywhere. Cheap ones too, ranging from around AU$20. But, what the NRMA uses to start your car is not a charger. These are either big batteries or power packs that give your battery a big surge of power, just enough to get it started (similar to jump starting your car from another car with jumper leads) The battery is NOT fully recharged. A battery charger can take around 12 hours to completely charge a battery. You can buy similar things that the NRMA have, but they are expensive. Look at Supercheap Auto, if there is one local. They have a lot of stuff. K-Mart etc. normally just have battery chargers. If you do "jump start" your Getz, ONLY use jumper cables with a surge protector, otherwise you run the very real risk of frying your cars computer circuits. Expensive!!! Car batteries are basic lead acid batteries, don't bother with expensive chargers. You can get by with a cheap one, charge it until it's fully charged and take it off the charger. Cheap chargers can easily over charge your battery. That's bad.

RED IS POSITIVE OR +
When recharging car battery make shure to disconnect at least one of car's battery cables. Some cars have engine computer or other devices that can be damaged by the battery charger.
