she also said you seemed like a really nice guy and it has nothing to do with you. I mean, we went out, then had a second date planned, and she got inundated and cancelled, and then got real weird (and, making matters worse, she went back home for a weekend and got back with her ex, trying now to work things out, which is what prompted her to tell me this, 3 weeks after the fact). I'm just looking for answers, as I'm the inquisitive type.

I think she is still into her ex and probably wants to do whatever possible to get back with him. She may think she is doing you a favor about not going out, even as just friends. When I say something like that, it is because I know the other person wants and is hoping for more, and I know it won't lead any where, so I make the choice not to give false hope and end up hurting some one.
But that is just my take on things.

You said the answer by yourself. She thought she wanted to move on from her ex so she went out with you. She liked you but then decided to get back with her ex. And since she first went out with you on a date and now she is trying to fix things with her ex, she wouldn't feel right if she was still seeing you even as friends, because in this case things wouldn't be that "just friendly". So it wouldn't be right towards her bf. Personally i think that going back to a past relationship is 90% of the times wrong and it can only seldom work, but there's nothing you can do about it. So just move on

It ability she would not care what you're saying and that she would not such as you. If she's you lady it ability she is blowing some dude on the component and is merely staying with you on account which you have greater money than the different guy, yet he has an enhanced ****.

She needs to figure out where her and the ex stand. If she wasn't over him you two had a rebound relationship going on, you don't want that. Let her sort her feelings out, never know she might be back.

this means tat the gal in question is a mean one,she may be good looking or so but she is not a type of woman u deserve or anyone i guess. this gal is selfish as she wen on a date wit u then jus got back wit her x n turned u down. there r such gal everwhere n these types of gals can never be happy to the fullest......so jus b cool..................n better luck next time

Sounds like she's worried about the ex getting jealous. You're ok but right now she has to much baggage even if she doesn't stay with her ex.

Let this one fall through the cracks. It is ehr loss my good friend. She is making a "live and learn" mistake of life. One of the rites of passage into adulthood. Say no in the future when she wants you.
