can you bring press powders thru custom in heatrow airport?

i heard that liquids aren't allowed. what about the make up my sister told me to get for her from other countries?

Powders should be OK. Check the British Airways website: http://baa.com/ and the Heathrow Airport site: http://www.heathrowairport.com/ Take one quart clear plastic bags just in case they want you to use them, but I don't think you will have to.
