Bookluffe has answered the question rephrssing it as "Believe nothing of that you hear' and if that is the question she has answered it correctly.
But if we stick up the the wording as it is presuming that the questioner is aware of what he was asking the proverb would appropriatel be as follows

Believe nothing of that you here the truth is quite different.

It is the pet belief of the spiritualists that the world seen is illusory and the truth lies elsewhere.
