As the baby grows, there's less room for him to move around. You'll still feel him squirm but there might not be as much room to kick. When you're lying on you back, the baby might be settling more into your pelvis making your baby appear smaller. At 32 weeks it's not really a good idea to lie on your back anyway. The baby can press and block off necessary blood supply for you. I had an ultrasound at 36 weeks where they had my on my back. I almost passed out.

Belly will look smaller when you're laying down on your back, versus standing. Might want to consider changing your sleep position though. Sleeping on your back may cut down on the blood circulation getting to the baby.

Normal to feel a bit less, but more noticeable movement towards the end. If you're worried baby's not moving enough, have a couple spoons full of sugar. That'll get him dancing.

It is normal for your belly to look smaller when you lie on your back. The same thing happens to me...I can't stay on my back for too long because starts to hurt. As the baby grows there is less room for him/her to move around so this is normal as long as you feel some movement. Try sleeping on your side though, it's is more comfortable

YOU REALLY SHOULD NOT SLEEPON YOUR BACK BUT BETTER ON YOUR LEFT SIDE. SLEEPING ON YOUR BACE WHILE YOU ARE PREGNANT CAN CAUSE YOU TO HAVE PREECLAMSIEA/ TOXIEMIA WHICH IS LIFE THREATING AND THE ONLY CURE IS TO DELIVER THE BABY. I HAD MY DAUGHTER THREE WEEKS EARLY B/C OF THIS. WHEN YOU SLEEP ON YOUR BACK IT PUTS STRAIN ON ALL YOUR MAIN BLOOD VESELS AND ARTERYS WHICH CAUSES YOUR BLOOD PRESURE TO RISE, TO A VERY UNHEALTHY STATE.
