If you believe in evolution, it is not possible to be a Christian. A Christian believes Jesus, and Jesus taught we were created. Jesus never denied the book of Genesis. Where we learn about creation.

I think the bigger question is, if we evolved from apes, why do we still have apes? I'm not sure how Christians can believe in MACROevolution, i.e., that everything evolved from lower organisms, even to think that God helped guide this. MICROevolution, or changes within a species is well-documented, but there are so many missing gaps in the fossil record that evolutionists have yet to reconcile. Having said that, I'm not so sure that evolutionists could claim we believe that the six days of creation were 24-hour days, since the sun is our benchmark for measuring days, and according to Genesis 1, the Earth was created before the sun--so I don't think a day of creation would have been a 24-hour period. It could've been millions of years, and God would just have created man on the sixth "day", which could then set the stage for the past 6,000 years of humanity's existence. Bottom line, I think holding to a belief in the reality of macroevolution, organisms evolving from simple to complex out of nothing but time and chance, is ludicrous at best, not to mention a mathematical impossibility that such an intricate ecosystem could evolve out of nothing more than time and chance. The first link below is rather thought-provoking.

Anyone who claims we 'evolved' from any other life form, is not a Christian, for God's Word clearly says He created us.

Evolution has never been proven, it is voodoo science.

Life can't evolve from non-life, so when evolution claims life evolves, it is shown to be false because evolution can't explain how that very first life form - whatever it was - came into existence. Well, it was created! And that shows the silliness of evolution's claims.

Because the Bibel was written by man, not God. I dont think God ever made a distinction between people and animals. There may be a God, but I don't think he sat down and created humans. I think he would have known we were comming through evolution, but as far as planning us as his own special creation....no I doubt it. If we were his prized creation, then he went to a lot of trouble to create billions of other galaxies and trillions of other stars just so that we would have something to look at in the nighttime

I am not sure what Christians you have talked to, but the Christian group I belong to does not believe that humans came from apes. We believe that humans started with Adam and Eve and then from Moses. Where did you get your information from?

no!you are completely wrong.humanbeings did not evolve from
apes.do you believe that you have a soul, your soul does not leave you .it's something you have always.if man generated from apes
then why don't apes have soul.are you clear now.this is why god created man superior to all other living things, but man being totally negligent forgets what God had done for man's sins.Jesus
Christ died for man's sins not for his.he is the only totally holy man who ever lived on this earth.are you clear now.

how do we know that were favored or treated differently. thats just arrogance on mans part. just like its arrogant to believe that were the only life in this universe.
and by the way, we didnt evolve from apes or monkeys, we evolved along side of them. the creature we evolved no longer exists

Yeah, the Bible was written by humans, not "God", but as far as I understand it was "inspired" by "God", so everything it says "must" be true...
