Yes they will it's biologically and socially ingrained into them to behave this way. I won't bore you with the details of why this is but it's the first of many tests that a man has to pass before a woman can be with him.

Depends upon the girl. In my opinion if she likes a guy she should let him know it. My last boyfriend was a very quiet and shy type so I asked him out. After we had dated for a while he told me that he had NEVER asked a woman out. He was too afraid of rejection. Even though things didn't work out in the long run there was some great times and I am glad that I did ask him out.

YES! I am that way. I'm shy and I don't want to look like an idiot and I am afraid of rejection, so I wait for the guy to make the first move, which sucks because some guys are also intimidated and afraid of rejection, so if neither of us ask the other out, we just keep hoping and wishing with no end result!

This depends on the guy. If he is the sort of guy who is pretty open, then go ahead and make the move. But if he is the conservative type, you better wait for him to make the move, but you can give him lots of hints to show you like him. If he still doesn't make a move with all the hints, he must be shy guy so you go ahead and do somethign about it.

generally we wait for the guy to make the first move--may make casual conversation or hang around nearby, but some of the old fashioned ways are still practiced.

hmmm depends on the girl really. Some girls have more trouble talking to guys they like so they won't be making the first move.Others however have no problem and would jump right in.I've acted either way on occasion.Sometimes i'm fine and i can be outgoing and talk to the guy if theirs an opening and other times i'm so shy if the guy would come up to me i wouldn't know what to say to him and i'd make a total *** out of myself.

i'm guilty of this, but i'm incredibly shy with people i don't know so i'm not likely to strike up a conversation with someone whether i liked them or not. although i'd say it really depends on the girl, i know a few outgoing girls who would take the initiative.

i always wait because i wanna see how the guy would make the first move...some guys get impatient and are really pushy and other guys are sweet and smooth...that pretty much tells me if i wanna get anything going at all...also because im not okay with making an a$s outta myself lol
