What if it was over a year and a half ago? I know I am stupid for breaking up with her, and always have regretted it. I really want to call her, but am too scared. If I see one of our mutual friends, I want to ask how whe is, but am afraid to do even that.

if you like her so much then why did you break up with her? but i know someone who`s in the same situation, my brother. he broke up with his girlfriend that he love like 2 years ago but now he`s going crazy looking for her, finding information about her and trying to see where she is. ( she`s in a boarding school ) but anyways, if you still love her this much then you should take action or else you`ll be regreting this your whole life. try talking to her again and try finding out if she still have feelings for you. and if she does then go after her. don`t waste your time doing nothing and regreting what you did, good luck ! =]

Peh. If it'll keep you from going crazy, then go ahead and call her. It sounds like you need closure....if you explain that to her, she'll probably understand. And no, you're not pathetic. I'm still in love with my ex, too. It only becomes pathetic if you become obsessive or there's something about the relationship which keeps you from functioning in life. If she wants you out of her life for good, then you'll just have to move on.

Why don't you just call her, tell her you were wrong and would she like to try again? Pretty simple isn't it.
