Delusions and wishful thinking. You see, people who don't know how to think rationally have to make up invisible father figures because it gives them comfort. Faith is a form of schizophrenia and the only cure for it is reason!

Because the only other answer is atheism. Anybody who says there is no God is just not thinking straight. In your brain there are 100 billion neurons. Each one of those neurons(remember, there's 100 billion of them) is connected to 1000 other neurons. That comes out to 100 trillion connections in your brain. These connections send electronic signals(and you can measure the electricity) from one place to another. If part of the brain is damaged and you lose some function that is controlled by that part of the brain, the brain can actually re-wire itself and let other neurons in the undamaged part of the brain take over so that you can get back that function. That's only the connections in the brain, not the rest of the body.
Our bodies also have tons of information in the DNA. You have enough information in your DNA to fill encyclopedia sized books stacked from here to the moon and back 500 times. Do you really think that came about by just random chance........kind of like a monkey typing out the works of Shakespear just by randomly plucking away at the keys?
You need to step back and look at the big picture of what is being claimed by evolution, namely, that the unbelieveable complexity of the human brain(not to mention the rest of the body) is nothing more than re-arranged pond scum. It’s pond scum from the original prebiotic soup re-arranged over billions of years into 100 trillion connections in the brain by luck…..just random chance. Evolution(and atheism as well) says that mankind is just a lump of slime that somehow acquired rationality just by random chance and luck(or so says the theory) and you say we're the ones who believe in fairy tales. You remember the fairy tale about the pricess that kissed the frog and it became a handsome prince. Well that fairy tale has a name. It's called evolution. In evolution, the frog does become a prince. It just took a couple of billion years longer. To quote Dr. Louis Bounoure, Director of the Zoological Museum and Director of Research at the National Center of Scientific Research in France,"evolution is a fairy tale for adults".

God and the afterlife are not a fairy tale, silly. God is real and life is now.

I like the other fairy tales that supposedly mature adults believe in like this one.

A long, long time ago the magic witch of mutation waved her radioactive wand and a frog was turned into a prince and that's where we all come from, the end.

Why are some adults rude to other adults? If you choose not to believe in God, that is your option, it is your choice, but, do not be rude and say that we are believing in fairy tales just because we have a difference of opinion. I believe in God, I choose to, I am not brain washed, He is not a fairy tale, He is the Lord. You may not believe in Him and that's fine, but, please be respectful of those of us that do.

Just like numberless people lose heart when in HOLY love, but they are still cherishing the great hope and pursuiting love. They know there is no love in the Garden of Eden, but all of them want to savor love in the Garden.
So adults still believe in fairy tales, in my eye.
It is not a bad thing. lIfe needs hope and dream.

Because we read the Bible . Many Biblical Scholars for hundreds of years and other believers have passed on the Truth. Blinded (Spiritually blinded eyes) and minds can't understand or don't want to understand.

How disrespectful to call it fairy tales. You can't see electricity.......but you believe it works when you turn on a light.

What if I was Blind and you tried to tell me about Light..........I could sit there for years and say I don't believe because I can't see it or understand it. You are spiritually blinded.

One person's fairy tale is another person's religion. Humans have, since prehistory, strived to understand their environment and themselves. The most effective, universal way to do so is through archetypes and myth--it's just the way the human mind works (that's why most religions throughout the world have the same basic mythology). Every human uses myth in one form or another as part of being human. This can be the myth that divinity of any form "exists" or the myth that divinity of any form does not "exist." It's a part of our genetic makeup.
