Really body Building is a serious endeavor. It involves 24 hour training. eating, training, sleeping, everything is strict to schedule. Sometimes putting on too much muscle for your frame (like HHH) can put you at risk to injury.

No, bodybuilding is not bad for your health. It's when it is taken to extremes in the case of professional bodybuilders who use super doses of anabolic agents, ie., steroids, to bulk up to a highly abnormal size. Another possible instance where bodybuilding could be a health hazard is the improper lifting and use of the weights. Back and joint injuries could occur if the lifter doesn't understand the proper methods used to lift. There are scads of books on the subject; do an Amazon.com search.

Bodybuilding promotes healthly increases in muscle size that can be maintained without a lot of physical effort over a lifetime. A whole range of diseases can be prevented or alleviated with bodybuilding exercises: Osteoporosis, heart disease, diabetes, obesity, sarcopenia, etc.

Ask people who have regularly worked with weight training over a lifetime and they should tell you that it's improved the quality of their lives significantly. It can make you feel more energized, self-confident, and virile.

Depends on what you mean by body building. If you mean getting out and exercising to lose a few pounds, tone up your body doing sit ups etc, running a few miles, and watching what you eat, no, it's not bad, but with the other kind, well, if you start, you can NEVER stop, or you will become what is known as being "muscle bound", and when you do that, you can't lift a thing and you'll look like a man with dolly parton size breasts. So if you're serious about it, you have to do it in moderation all your life. So unless you're willing to commit to a lifetime of 4 hour days of body building, I would suggest the first mentioned method. See if you can find an old Charles Atlas course on ebay or amazon.

If you are not an Adult, Yes. And in some cases, yes.

As a Child or an Adolescent, Body Building causes problems in your devolopment, not all of which can be visually seen (your hermones and other chemicals your body produces naturally can be thrown off. Your metabolism will SUCK when your an Adult. Even if you try to keep this up because you can not increase what your doing on to infinite weight and infinite hours and beyond which your body may feel it should do by your life style before you were an adult,.. plus if you get a Hernia it stick with you for life) & visually noticed will be height, bone structure, muscles malformation,... and I have been distracted and lost my train of thought.

As an adult be careful,... again Hernias can be a problem, problems with muscles, arthritis later, Metabolism may not be stable, hormones and body chemistry may be off a little. Just try to take things slow and at a consistent pace to avoid these problems. Remember to get plenty of things in your diet,.. beyond recommendations,.. your muscles and body may still need to have things in your stumock as your sleep to repair and get energy off of for even while your at rest.

P.S. People are makeing guesses on age you will be an Adult entirely. Some testing may help,.. but if you look for the numbers things like the Encyclipedic Bratanica and Webster Dictionary range up to as the end of Adolescences it's ---> 26 or 28 <---,.. some people still have growth spurs in their 20's and their bodies are still adjusting, plus your still devolopeing when it's not physically noticable. And now for my knowledge that it's 26 or 28 I will be getting thumbs down,.. because that's how my day has been.

actually no longer. no longer in hardship-free words is understanding constructive on your psychological well being, as you already know, yet actual besides. each and every hour you workout consultation you upload an 2 hours on your existence span. in hardship-free words damaging aspect that could want to ensue might want to be doing weights to heavy or with incorrect form, hence damaging your bones and joints. except that, lifting is carefully nice.
