Sex isn't something you should have to throw like a bone in order to stop a guy from cheating. If he felt like he wasn't having enough sex with you, he should talk to you about it before seeking it elsewhere. If he felt there was a problem with your relationship, he should talk to you before he talks to someone else. A relationship can't work with one person trying to make it work and the other one seeking attention elsewhere.

I may be a litle different as I am not married but live with a number of women and we find that by being open and honest then there is no need to cheat. Cheating is when you do something and keep it a secret. Why are so many people scared of having an open relationship, is it that they feel they own their partner. Imho I feel we should all be open and free and most important honest with each other.
Medically I enjoy sex a number of times a night and often with different partners at the same time, but some men do not like sex more than once a week as they get older as it becomes a bore to them and thus their libido lowers.

It's all depend on the guy. If he want to cheat, even less then once a week can cause cheating. So, u have to have ur way to attract him

It depends upon the guy. Some people want or need it more often than others. Personally once a week don't cut it for me. I have never cheated, no matter what, but I did break up with a guy once because of his low libido.

Well, it really depends upon the man. If he is one who cheats or has cheated ther is a greater chance that he will. Regardless of how much he may be getting at home. It is all about his sexual appetite (no pun intended) and his faithfullness to his wife, not himself. Now another situation could be a disorder called hypersexual desire disorder which would require treatment with a qualified professional.

Once a day is not enough for me ...
Look if I get a chance (get a chance are the key words) to bang three times a day I still have to masturbate at least once ... if this were to happen everyday maybe I would be too worn out to cheat, but that would be the only reason.

Well a better question is ... is once a week ... presuming you mean sex ... sufficient physical and hormonal sexual release ... and emotional bonding ... that goes with it ... to keep a man gratified and happy ... and the anwer to that ... presuming the man is healthy and normal ... is HELL NO ... having been married for 19 years to a husband who goes into depression with less than 3 times a day, and comparing him to his friends nad collegues .... you better be boffing yhour man at least once or twice a day if you want to keep him ...
Also, as men age, unless they are either masturbating 2-3 times a day or doing sex with you two or three times a day, they develop risk of prostate cancer by NOT clearning their prostate fully a couple times a day ...
You can not only lose yhour man to cheating or lack of gratification, you can lose him to cancer due to your lack of sufficient sex with him.
If you only need once a week, you need to get YOUR hormones checked ... and seek help, that is NOT normal ...
Most of us seem to need at least once a day minumum, twice is better ... three is great ...
Why would you want less?

Cheating has nothing to do with how many times ... . It is simply a matter of commitment that is generated from Love.

hopefully people in love would choose to screw more often then that, but if you have been together a really long time maybe it has gotten old. He will only cheat if he is a cheater. You can always ask him?

well, a guy shouldn't cheat. period. same goes for girls. it really isn't that hard not to cheat. i have been with my man for 7 years without either of us cheating. people who cheat don't care enough. they don't deserve relationships.
