So this is your last christmas as a gf/bf couple. Make it a good one, everyone is saying jewellery, which I think is a good idea...but make it more then that! Take her somewhere nice, somewhere exotic. And if you can't afford that take her somewhere familiar..like the first place you kissed. I guarantee she will gets butterflies when you start to talk about the past and the things you did*winks*. And then sweep her up in your arms underneath the stars, tell her how much you love her and then give her the present with the little red bow. I promise by then she won't care what it is. Just that it came from you!

You didn't mention your budget, so it's kind of hard to give really super advice, but I will tell you the first thing that came to mind.

Since you are getting married, and since you surely know by now what her jewelry preferences are, why don't you get her a piece of jewelry that compliments her engagement ring?

I am thinking a nice pair of earrings (studs) or a pendant necklace. The reason those seem like good ideas to me is because they can match her ring, so that over time she develops a full set of diamond jewelry, or sapphire jewelry, or whatever, and also because they allow for a huge variation in budget. You can get a nice pair of diamond earrings for about $200, and a nice diamond pendant, usually with chain, for about $100. You just need to shop carefully, and scout around to check pricing, and make sure you are getting both quality and a good price.

Another thing, that sort of goes in the same vein, is a nice watch. Again, you should be able to get a fairly nice one for about $100, and if you select something that compliments her engagement and/or wedding ring, she will have something nice to wear for years to come.

If your budget does not allow quite that much, have you considered some luggage? I know it sounds weird, but you can get a small set of luggage with wheels for about $60 if you know where to shop. I think that would be a really great idea if you are planning to take a trip in the summer when you get married.

Whatever you decide, may I just caution you about one thing? Keep the gift about her, unless she specifically drops hints about wanting something like cookware or dishes or something else for the house. I know a lot of men who get into trouble by giving perfectly nice gifts which are completely impersonal. Most women I know want a gift picked especially for them, not something for the house, or something "useful", but something special that shows you gave it some thought, and attempted to please them. Whatever you decide to get, keep that in mind.

Regards, and happy shopping!
