This can be a very real worry. Take the following steps if you are going to a country that concerns you. First buy a hard suitcase, not a soft one, with no extra external pockets. Make sure that it is a good quality one with substantial locks, both at the front and the sides. Samsonite make this sort of thing. Pack it yourself (as you always get asked - but no-one hears!) and once packed, lock it and do not let anyone else go into it afterwards. Second, never let it out of your sight until you check in. Third, never accept anything from strangers to "carry through" never take anything through customs for anyone other than yourself, no matter what, never, under no circumstances. Anything a freind gives you, check it. You want to know exactly what is in it, no matter how much of a "friend" and "friend " is. If, at the other end, you see your case on the carousel and it is broken or the locks undone or anything other than being in perfect condition, report it straight away to either the airline or a customs officer (or both) BEFORE you go through customs.

Keep your luggage with you at all times, even when your in the toliet!!! Trust no one!

Uh, no. Why would a drug dealer plant some drugs on a random person? He'd never know where it got to or see any money from it. Unless the plane was being searched and he had to get rid of it quickly.

some one planted in my bag a stolen suitcase he broke into in the airport and wanted to get read off. i assume in theory it can happened with drugs. but if you will bring it up as an accuses when caught, it will NOT stand for you

happened to me,went to jail in jamaica,sucked big time,lol that was a long time ago and a long story,but yes it happens
