Hon- I don't think you're too young to have a boyfriend. BUT I DO think you're too young to go out with a 15 year old boy who I'm sure has had plenty of experience. You might be a mature 11 year old, but believe me, you will feel much happier having a boyfriend who is around you're own age and share the same insecurities and interests as your age group. He's 15...in one year, he will be of legal driving age. In three years, he will be a legal adult. Quite simply, he's at a different stage in life. He has different expectations which you could not possibly meet because you are 11 and have not been exposed to the same kind of life experiences. I'm sure he is a sweet guy, but there are certain "pressures" that an eleven year old girl like you don't need in your life right now. Respect and admire him like an older brother, but find your boyfriend in someone who is in a similiar stage in life as you. You write with intelligence; I hope you make the intelligent choice.

You are also too young to be dating. Do you want to end up pregnant? Older guys are usually looking for an intimate relationship. You should be watching the Disney Channel instead thinking about dating.

He's 15, for the love of god. Bet he's already got his private stash of kinky magazines hidden under his bed. Why don't you find boys your age, that would be a start. You can talk about that new rihanna song or the new kind of sandwiches they brought at the caffeteria. Or maybe wait till grow up a bit, after all you said it yourself.

I don't think you should avoid having a boyfriend till you're 15 (that's dumb), but make sure they're not that much older than you. When you're that young, 4 years makes a huge difference.

The only smart thing you said in your post was "I'm too young". Hold that thought. Hold it for about another....oh, say.....half a dozen years. THEN start thinking about a boyfriend again.

I say, if you don't have an emotional IQ of 150 or above, which it doesn't look like you do, stay away from him. 15-year-olds are into stuff you haven't even probably dreamt of. Trust me. I know.

I'll just be frank. He is 15 and a boy so he will try to get you to go to far. If you don't go as far as he wants he will find another girl if you do go as far as he wants he will have conquored you and still go find another girl. He will just break your heart so hes not worth it

Yes, too young, far too young and he is too young too.
However, you can be friends. Good friends.
