call her tomorrow & ask if you can come over... bring her some flowers & tell her how you feel. what girl could turn that down? ok, so even if this "rich" guy goes out with her tonite, it doesn't mean she feels the same way about him... she might just be shy too and waiting on you to make your move. so, just do something sweet tomorrow. if she really likes you back, then she will forget that guy she went out with last night.

She will pursue other men if she does not know how you feel about her. Since you two are best of friends, it makes it an ideal relationship for romance and successful long term relationship because you already have established a solid foundation.
You are not sure if she will reciprocate your feelings; however, you may never know unless you attempt to address this sooner or later. If you tell her, you risk rejection and the friendship will be altered in some awkward way if she don't feel the same way. If she does, you will be on cloud 9.
At this point, you realize that you can not ignore your passion for her. If you don't tell her, ask yourself if you can manage to see her at the altar with some other guy 5 years down the road. In other words, if you don't tell her soon, you may regret it. It is not too late. Remember that when it comes to true love, money is not a factor. You have a history and bond with her that the other guy can not compete with.
Set up an atmosphere so that you can make it appropriate to confess your love for her. For example ,take her out to a romantic restaurant and perhaps a long walk along a pier or lake.
Much luck to you. I certainly do hope that your friendship will blossom into a lifelong relationship.

Take her out somewhere nicer than you'd usually go maybe tomorrow night, maybe a couple nights from now. She'll know something is up.
Just talk to her like you normally would, do what you normally do, don't act any different. She'll be wondering at dinner why you're at a nicer place.
Then go out for dessert or a movie or whatever else it is you.
At the end of the night, just tell her how you feel. Honesty has always worked for me. She'll either start to think of you as more than a friend or she'll let you know she just wants a friendship.

Ask her how her date went next time you see her. Nothing much you can do about it. If youve just been friends and didnt let her know you had deeper feelings...either you dont show it or she knew but tried to keep it friendly cuz she isnt ready for you or just likes you as a friend. Good luck.

Take the brave step in telling her how you feel. It's tough, yeah, but if you really want her badly, go after her. Take the risks. You won't regret it. Your regret would be if you never tried. This is a good example of "life".

If you are willing to lose the friendship, than let her know how you feel. It could be great, but when things end you will lose her as a friend.

Wait it out and tell her the next time you see her. There's nothing you can do about tonight.

You missed the train, buddy.
You should have spent less time assuming that she felt the way you did, and more time trying to let her know how you felt.
