Join the club. This seems to be the order of the day anymore. People act like spoiled snippy little zombies. Too much t.v., computers, video games, crime, drugs, stress, noise, hateful social situations, etc. All this garbage gets on people's nerves. Do some hard physical work and you won't think about being angry. You will be too tired to give anything an angry thought or have the energy to react in an angry manner. Something like digging ditches, working on a farm, community service, etc. Things like that that give us a little humility and takes away that pitbull mentality. Hard physical labor will make you more at peace and make the world a better place. Start digging.

It sounds like you're overly stressed out! Of course, sometimes we cannot change what is happening around us, but we can change our behavior. It is allright to feel angry, but shouting, hitting the wall, and slamming doors may encourage even more rage and anger in you. Start by either leaving the situation to cool off, or counting to ten when you feel the rage coming on.
Exercise, good sex, and relaxation techniques such as massage, meditation, journaling, and enjoying hobbies are all wonderful ways to cut out stress and start focusing your attention away from the small stuff that gets you worked up. If these approaches have not helped, why not go see a therapist and talk through your stress and anger? I wish you good luck in your search for mental peace.

May be if it is to a person, for a while stop thinking what made you angry and try to visualize what good he/she has done to you earlier. However, patiently try to put yourself on the otherside and try to study why he/she made you unhappy?
Try to evaluate the psychological status of the other who made you angry and try to make smart decisions like being quite when some one teases you. Try to put yourself more through the sufferings which refines the personality.
Take time to make decisions. Hasty decisions have no wise/intelligence in it and later you repent for the same.
When it is all about the environment that makes you unhappy, try to spiritually post those grienvence to the GOD and dont lose your temperament. Always try to think a way to resolve such issues by way of your contribution which can set lessons to others. Exhibition of your anger would make more such personalities around you and more hostile.
Above all keep asking you only one question AM I PERFECT????????

maybe a tranquilizer (like xanax) would help, depends, how intense the anger is. If you can handle it, you don't need medication. Anger is normal human emotion - if it hand roots, define them, and try to make things the way they don't make you angry. if it's not possible, or it is too intense and not under control, seek help... psychiatrist would prescribe you some meds that will calm you down in the case of anger attack.

SAME HERE!! but I am trying to control it you can also try it. IT IS DIFFICULT TO PREACH such things but since i am able to do it then even you can.
Conciously always you will have to remember of this negative aspect of yours . Then whenever your anger starts building up Try keeping your lips sealed and take 10 deep breaths or 5 will also do in the begining and start counting till 50 slowly and try looking at something refreshing like PLANTS or FLOWERS.
This will work wonders to you and to me too!!!
and yes DONT forget to SMILE!!

I took ativan for my anger for quite sometime. When I stopped taking it, the anger did come back - even worse. Nowadays, I just try very hard not to get mad so easily and try to think of something pleasant. It's not easy, believe me.

people get upset or angry because they fail to see the things to be done their way. Relax, and open up your mind for options maybe there might be a better way out.

Exercise is a good good way to let off steam, and relax you for the rest of the day. Get a trainer, donn't hurt yourself, and do it for fun.
