Live to fight another Day! At some point in life there comes a time when you must simply accept defeat and walk away to survive what good does it do if you know you are bested and lose your life. I would fight with all my might but know when it is time to say enough I will return and I will persevere and win strengthen yourself and know your opponents weakness then come back
I do persevere, I do endeavor, I try, I fail and I succeed and in between despair is hope

It depends on the situation and what the fight is about. Is it about my selfish wants or is it a struggle for a very good cause? And sometimes you have to surrender to win, as is the case when I did the first step of the AA 12 steps, I admitted I was powerless over alcohol, since I did that I find myself in a lot more winning situations.
Peace.

i do not come on right here to make acquaintances, do not do the contact aspect, I come right here to respond to questions easily and actual So no matter if or not they're 'good' or no longer makes no distinction, all I see is a question. If I dont thumbs up, then neither do I thumbs down, and that i in hardship-free words report q's with pornographic content fabric. yet as i'm Irish I income from the banter and the craic and could guard you if i trust you're authentic with out being brazenly pleasant - that crap motives too many probs. xx

Depends on who the higher power you are referring to. If it's the Almighty, give it up, dude, you can't win.
If not, it aint' over till it's over ... fight to the death!!
Why? The Almighty will always win against you ... if not the Almighty you are battling, you are the next highest power down the ladder in the universe! GO FOR IT!

There is no opponent. There is a value judgment here, as if one is better than the other. This is tension. This is but one face of the opponent (that exists through your identification).
This is tension
That is not

What? Are you asking whether it is nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune or to take up arms against a sea of troubles, and by opposing, end them? I think that question has already been asked.

I would surrender and let the battle be the Lord's, for in Him , Victory is claimed!
We only think we're in control, it's quite the opposite!
