Hi.
Although The IE 7.0 slows down your PC alittle bit (due to the Anti-phishing Process that has to be done before each page is fetched), it's not that bad!!!!!!
you can stop the anti-phishing operation (Tools, Phishing Filter, Turn off automatic website checking)
enjoy ;)

Eric, I have read that it is a power hog, although Microsoft claims that it needs only 64MB Ram Minimum and 12 MB disk space to run. One thing I can tell you is that if you have less than 512MB RAM you are going to have the problem of slowness. Are you on dial up or DSL or cable? this is another thing to consider as well.
Good luck

its meant to run on a decent machine. guess what vista is going to have on it? 7.0! if you want to have the best software (or the best gates can make it) you gotta have good hardware to run it.
