Eating: *Separate your carbs from your protein
(veggies can be mixed with everything so
eat as much of those as you possibly can)
*Eat fruits in the morning, on empty
stomach and never mix it with other
foods as it causes bloating and gas.
*Eat small portions 5-6 meals a day
*Drink 8-10 glasses of water a day
*Give up coffee/tea/coke (instead have
a cup of hot water with lemon)

Work out: brisk walk at least 30 minutes every day!!!

One word: Synergy (the interaction of two or more agents or forces so that their combined effect is greater than the sum of their individual effects).

There are 4 areas to look at, that, when combined, give you much, much better results than if you did each alone. They are:

Diet - Eat healthy and read the labels. Remember the old saying, "You are what you eat".

Exercise - Cardio (for heart and lungs) and weight training (strengthen those muscles). Cardio will burn more calories while you do it, but increasing your muscles will increase your metabolism and burn more calories at rest.

Rest - Make sure you are getting plenty of sleep. This is the time when your body repairs itself.

Hydration - Drink lots of water. Approximately 75% of people are dehydrated and don't know it. Try for at least 8 glasses a day, more if your are really active.

Go from moderate exercise and build slowly to cardio/vascular, then slow back down. End and begin workouts with slow stretching exercises.
