Good question. There are so many. Right now it is Daniel in the Lions' Den because I am making finger puppets for a children's quiet book. I like Egermeier's Bible storybook itself due to the realistic painted illustrations - like scenes from a movie.

It's the one where Jesus and his apostles are sitting at a table when John said to Jesus, "You're a funny guy!" And Jesus just looked real serious and said, "Funny how?" Oh, I'm sorry that was the movie Goodfellows. I don't have a favorite Bible story.

The Samaritan, with the sory of Job second, because bad things sometimes do happen to good people without cause, a fact often forgotten by those who believe in a predictable future, and that it is a duty to help each other if we can, another often forgotten thing.

Adam and Eve. Really cracks me up when I read the story, and the Catholic Church's condemnation of incest. Talk about contradictions. At least the Koran got it right with their version of the Genesis.

Oh man, that's hard! I like the whole of the New Testament! In the O.T. I like the story about Esther when she saved her people! Pure courage!
