Gospel of Thomas: one of the gnostic gospels (3rd century), written in coptic, one of the "apocrypha" of the New Testament.
It is not Christian, as the Gnostics departed tremendously from the teachings of Christ. The Gnostics widely believed that the evildoers of the Bible (such as Judas Iscariot) were actually favored by God to teach humanity.
The "Gospel of Thomas" contradicts the Bible. It is interesting reading, but the Gnostics were little more than a cult, and their writings were not Christian.

Gospel is a biography of Messiah Jesus Christ, how different can it possibly be from official four ?
Today 2000 years later none of that matters.
Jesus is not the God, He is not coming back, He have died.
We can use His words to get to His Father, today in person.
And only by His Father, we can understand words that Jesus spoke,
and are writen in Gospels.
Mission of Jesus was to bring new covenant with people in form
of Truth, coming out of existing word, called Torah, not to create new text that must be identical with Torah. Paul have created Christianity, not Jesus. Dumb disciples created Idea of " Trinity "
" Savior " and " Jesus is God "
People can not believe in Truth, they can only know it.
If person have Faith, that person have no clue what the Truth is.

ahh, doubting Thomas.
not a "gospel" per se. but 1 of the apostles. the book of john is a gospel.
he didn't believe Jesus was risen until he put his hands on the nail holes in Jesus' hands, and on the sword wound in Jesus' side (John 20:27) thomas saying "my Lord and my God". in v29 Jesus says "Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed".
what's it mean?....to have the blessing(s) of Christ because we believe in him without seeing him but knowing he is always with us thus this is what being Christian means.....
Christ Is Always Near

It was written about 200 AD by an unknown writer. Though it is an ancient writing it shouldn't be considered Scripture.
