can i jus t add this is a public school and secretly the other teachers are aware of her behaviour the storys are true ive seen the evidence with my own son this is not a campaign that is useless as there is so much evidence children will start failing and is this really fair as they should be able to trust there teachers we dont expect this behaviour in the homes of these children let alone at school

Is this a private school you're talking about? If so, there must be some kind of overseeing group that a person can take complaints of this kind to to report.

If it's a public school, then there also is a place to go.

Ask other people in your area.

Be careful that you are correct and can prove it. If not the teacher could sue you for every penny you have got!!!!

If you are involving children other than your own your actions could be seen as detremental to them and thus it would be looked on as child abuse. If you were seen to be the problem then it might be construed that you are a problem to your own kids and then welfare would get involved.

There is also the possibility that if you are seen as carrying out a campaign against a teacher without proper cause you could end up with a restraining order or even get arrested.

It would be almost unheard of for a teacher to be a bully especially to more than one child. On the other hand over protective parents are very common.

Check your facts and check again. I suspect that no one will escape unharmed from this!!!!!

Well try someone higher then the head mistress. There has to be someone higher who oversees the operation of this school. If you can see that there is a crime happening with this bullying (i.e. child abuse, etc.) your local police department can help.

First try to help the children become more assertive.
Courses and therapy might help.

Second you might have to secretly videotape the teacher and use that as leverage to make things right. Blackmail is a very powerful motivational tool.

Contact your local Member of Parliament. You can enquire at the town hall where they hold their surgery and visit in person, or write c/o Houses of Parliament.

take it to the local newspapers, this will embarass the local authorities into dealing with the teacher - they will try and sweep it under the carpet if it isn't publicised
