Wow, sounds like you were right. Your friend's bf is not a good guy at all! I'd be a little choked with your friend for blabbing your concerns with him. You should talk with her and explain that some things are intended as private conversation, and you shouldn't have to explicitly say so for her to keep your confidence.
Now as for your boyfriend, it doesn't seem like he's a very trusting fellow if he won't even hear you out. You might try writing him a letter, explaining what happened. I would caution against venting about his friend though, as that will just feed the problem you're having. Be honest with him, and if he still won't even give you a chance to talk about it.... well, then be glad that it's over now and you haven't wasted any more time with him. Sometimes these situations act as a test for a relationship, and even though the result isn't want you wanted, this little test may give you some great insight into a not-so-great guy: finding out now could save you even more heartbreak down the road.
Hopefully, he knows what kind of person his friend is, and after reading your letter, he will see what happened and come around.
Best of luck!

Well, if your bf really loves you then he should know you better than to believe a stranger. Anyway let things cool down for a while, give him some time to calmdown, then you can approach him and try to explain the whole situation. Relax everything will fall into it's right place in due course. If he doesn't answer your calls try sending him an e-mail. All he best and take care!

It sounds like you're better off without him. I know that's not what you want to hear but his reaction shows he thinks more of his friend than he does you. Your friend asked you for advice then TOLD her bf what you said. She's not much of a friend either. If I were you I'd find some other people to hang out with.

Well first of all he's a jerk for that, but then again, maybe he's just devastated that he heard those things about you, because he's probably hoping theyre not true. Just wait till he cools off and try talking to him. If he doesn't cooperate, I'd say youre better off without him. Who would want a relationship without trust and communication?

If you have a boyfriend that acts like that and doesn't know you well enough to know you wouldn't do those things, then GOOD RIDDENCE to him! It kinda sounds like he was just looking for an excuse to break up anyway. Or it's a little manipulation game. Either way, move on honey!

try to call him back and explain, if he doent answer keep tryin, and if that wont work go talk to him in person. but i can garantee that the your best bet would be to go see him in person and explain. cuz than it would be easier for him to believe. for that if you talk to him in person he would be able to see that your serious and not just say some thing over the phone to save ur self. good luck
