Yes, if you are willing to consider this earth as heaven.
Work, rest day, marriage, family were all started not on specific dates and time, but as part of evolution of history.
Once these systems and institutions started to shape into an organised form, contemporary religions took charge of it and gave a religious dimension which ascertained their strong hold over it.
