babies have original sin....oh wait, the devil does these things...oh wait, God works in mysterious ways...oh wait, God wants those he loves the most to be close to him the soonest...oh wait, it's all part of God's plan...

Ehm, need more of that nonsense?

the Truth is much more simple: Life is meaningless, and that's awesome. Life starts without meaning, but we humans have the abilitity to bring meaning to our lives and the lives of others. We do that with bringing Love into life.

All other things that happen to us are pure Random Luck. Good Luck or Bad Luck. In this case, to answer your question, it's very sad Bad Luck.

Thank that life is at least meaningless.

Children belong to God anyway...they are with God in a better place. God is love but God allows a lot of suffering due to free will. If you look at this situation it does not make sense, but when you look at the big picture, it makes sense. This life here is only a temporary assignment.

We do not have to thank God for our suffering, but it is wise to thank God in suffering. To thank God for He thinks we can actually take this pain. But God knows about our pain. He was here. Things were not so fair for Him either. Jesus knew how hard it is in here some times, He did not come here to find out. He came here so that we know that He knows.

God works mysterious ways. God is God and He communicates to us with different ways. We can only say that we do not like it. I choose to love my Lord, because I want to be with Him in eternity.

I truly be live that death of a loved one humbles anyone....maybe by God allowing that child to pass , brought the other family members closer, took another look at their lives, and became better people from the grief. I believe that God never closes one door without opening another. There may have been many lives actually saved from becoming humbled than there would have been without the loss.

Ezekiel 18:20 says, “The soul who sins is the one who will die. The son will not share the guilt of the father, nor will the father share the guilt of the son."

Exodus 20:5 declares, "You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me."

One of these has to be right

Because, the soul of that baby knew it's future before it chose to enter the womb. This devastating thing to us is actually a point in the lives of all involved to learn something that will eventually
come to pass.
The pain is unbearable but necessary for one to reach the full realization of God and the many lives we live.

God knows the world can be a dreadful place, full of pain, suffering and death. The answer is known even to people with only a passing knowledge of the Bible, though.

Mankind was cast out of paradise by God. Man was made mortal, and imperfect and ungodly (what some people refer to as "sinner").

Jesus was offered all the cities of the earth by Satan if only He would bow down to him instead of God. Later, Jesus refers to this world as "lying in the power of the wicked one". Clearly, Satan is in charge of this imperfect Earth, with tremendous influence over ungodly, sinning mankind. Thus, this world is full of suffering, pain and death. Satan would have us all believe that "only the strong deserve to survive". Such a belief twists people into monsters.

But time is running out for this world, and its ruler. J.C. is comin' back with a vengeance.

I see from you're questions that you are seeking to learn about God (his likes/dislikes/character traits/personality etc.) I was once there too and I want to tell you that Christian bookstores have many books (besides the bible) that can help you answer alot of your questions. Your spirit is searching for its creator and won't rest until you let HIM in :-) God Bless.

Your question appears to refute the idea of God as a loving caring grandfatherly figure sitting on a throne with a long beard and flowing robes.

Interesting...

Jehovah God created Adam and Eve perfect.Put them in a paradise earth and told them to multiply and fill the earth. They were designed to live forever. But that wasn't enough for them.Satan tricked them into thinking they could make their own decisions independent of their Creator. As a result their disobedience amounted to sin. That sin brought death. They started aging and eventually died.As offspring of that first human pair,we all inherit that sin and imperfection.
It is not God' fault that people get sick, born with disabilities and die. This is all due to the disobedience of our first parents.
However, the Bible promises a time coming shortly when Jehovah will step in and rid the earth of wickedness and restore things to how He purposed them to be in the beginning.
