so if i get windows for my mac ill be able to run all the software from windows like games ect?

Mostly. Depends on what mac you have. The iMacs with the Intel Core Duo 2 processors are pretty powerful, and they can run windows too. So most of your PC applications will do fine. And since the iMac has the ATI Raedon X1600 graphics card, don't worry about graphics quality.
The controls though, that may be a little weird.
