no, highlights are completely harmless in terms of medical diseases. the worst that can happen is that after many many many highlighting sessions, you hair might get less healthy. i would suggest having it done at a salon first though, just to make sure that you get the right color highlights that would look good with your hair color, and the right placement of the highlights and such.

I am a liscensed hairdresser and I will tell you, it wil damage your hair. However, some damage can be good for your hair, by giving it volume. But don't go over board with it. I will also say if it is your first time I would go somewhere and get it done, foil highlights look alot better than from a cap because with foil you can tell where you are pulling hair from and can put them where you want. Also if you do it at home and mess it up for any reason, you can't get bleach out and it is very hard and sometimes costly to fix. I would get them though it adds some color, just start out with a few and add more if you like it, but once you start its addicting. Then when you do get them, make sure you use products for color treated hair. My favorite is brand is biolage, and always use conditioner!! good luck :)

Highlighting or dyeing your hair might nicely be risky in case you enable somebody try this in the time of your hair who isn't a expert. i be attentive to assorted people incredibly women who desire to colour their own hair and don't take the mandatory precautions. Ever see those women with better than one hair colour. What I recommend via that's that your hair in the previous getting colored must be dealt with with a conditioner in the previous and after so as that the dye would not make your hair brittle. a similar is going in case you desire to apply a relaxer on your hair. you are able to only have it on for a quick quantity of time in the previous your head starts off to itch and in case you preserve it in too long your hair starts off to fall out from the roots. As for what hair colour is physically powerful why do not you attempt out highlights first and notice the way you like it in the previous you alter the entire hair colour.

THEY WILL NOT HARM YOUR HEALTH... UNLESS YOU ARE PREGNANT. AND EVEN THEN.. ITS NOT PROVEN MEDICALLY THAT IT HARMS YOUR BABY, ITS JUST NOT PROVENT THAT IT WONT.
THE ONLY HARM THEY DO IS THAT, HONESTLY, YOUR HAIR WONT BE 100% AS HEALTHY AS IT WAS BEFORE YOU HIGHLIGHTED IT.
