1st, only the people who don't know and don't care what there is still to learn reject the chance to learn.

2nd Im not sure where that quote is from and the contex it is in, but I think it goes along with "no pain no gain" that you have to put the "effort" in before you really get any results.

People who know anything know how valuable education is, therefore, they love to learn. They realizethe ebefits.

Effort is only effort when you feel it. If I an a mathematical genious, I never have to put anyeffort intot learning math. But when it comes to science, I'm an idiot, so it's tough to learn it, that's when effort is hurting.

I hope I didn't just do your HW for you...
If so, hopefully, you can figure these out with a little 'effort', take the time to piece them together for yourself.

"It is only ignorant people who hate education."

This means that the small closed minds of people who know little fear ideas and knowledge.

The more one learns, the more one comes to value education and knowledge.

As one becomes more informed, one gains a more open-minded point of view.

"Effort is only effort when it begins to hurt."

True effort means stretching your limits. If you stay in your comfort zone (no pain) you aren't really trying - making an effort.

That is how I understand them.

Hope this helps :-))
