Dunno ... which Christan type are they? I'm guessing Jehovah Witnesses ... they're persistent!!! Not all Christan's are called to minister this way. Most of us have our ministries to help ppl accept Jesus and these range from parenting, church help, social help, etc-etc-etc ... peace be with you.

This is the point where you buy a doorbell with a custom message. Instead of playing a song, get it to say something like the following.
"Hello. You've reached the home of Satan. I'm not able to come to the door right now. I've got God over for a tea party and a good homosexual a*se-pounding, so we're a little busy. Try the house next door, and come back later when I have time to eat your soul. Thankyou for visiting, and come back any time, Sugarplum!"
That'll get them running. Mwahaha!

They are not "Mainstream" Christians. These are Mormons (who don't claim to be Christians exactly-its complicated, so a Mormon would have to explain it to you, I don't understand their beliefs very well) and ? I can't remember the name of the other sect any more sorry...
But to answer your question the bible says to go out and bring other sto the faith, and these people are doing just that, they are trying to save you.
Do what I do, ask them to join your church! I've never been able to convince any to become a presbyterian, but they don't come to my house anymore either.
Depending on where you live, some areas have much higher concentations of Mormons. Is there a large population of them where you live? The more there are , the more often they visit.

Because they are trying to use a popular yet terribly ineffective way of warning the world of destruction. You do not hear Jesus converting a heart with terror tactics. He showed people the love of God and His desire to have a part in their lives. He ultimately showed this by taking the penalty that was mankinds for himself and giving us His deserved reward of eternal life. Unfortunately many Christians have not yet understood this love themselves and are incapable of sharing it. They only take what they know, that the world will suffer their original fate of death if they do not accept the free gift of life. While this is true it is never a healthy way to convert a heart. Only the love of God as best seen on the cross can do that. When I run into a Christian like this I try my hardest to show them this love so that they can truly share Jesus with the world.

Because they're not obeying scripture.
I heard this the other day at church:
"Presenting the gospel with love vs without love is the same difference as surgury vs brutality"
and I'd like to appologize, not all "Christians" are like that, in fact Jesus said not to constantly preach at people who reject what we have to say. He said to shut up and be their friend anyway.

I think some get over zealous in thinking that because you may not be saved they have to use that tactic. But Jesus wherever He went gave love and peace to all around Him. He died because He loved and loves you. He does not want to see anyone perish. Salvation is a free gift from God and it is up to us to receive it or not. But of course if we deny this precious gift, then we suffer consequences. Now Jesus is our Redeemer but one day He will be our judge. I pray if you do not know Him as Saviour and Lord that you will open your heart to Him. Go to Him and talk to Him. He is waiting. He will lead you to the right place to worship after you come to know Him as your Saviour. I pray you will receive this free precious gift of Jesus before it is too late. God bless you !!!

Refuse these kind of christians cause they practice not the true things of God. God gives every human being a free choice to choose salvation.

It's a money-making scam. They're trying to brainwash you and convince you if you don't come to their church and put money in their collection plate then you're going to "hell".
