Ok people that are so against abortion why is it you all say "thou shall not kill" , that abortion is murder but what about all the people that are in the army fighting in a war (I know for our freedom, i already know all of that) killing people -Men-Women and their kids and babies?
They are killing so what makes that okay and abortion not?

Karma did you not read my question it states that how is abortion any different from war if you all claim abortion is murder and all these troops goes around killing thousands of people, kids and babies. If that isn't murder i don't know what is...If it is okay for them to kill for whatever reason then why put someone down for having an abortion..? I think you didn't read it right

It doesn't make it okay, you have an excellent point, anyone saying abortion is wrong and then killing another in war is a hypocrite. God never said it was okay to kill for the chunk of land you live on or even to protect your family from danger that may or may not affect them. Christians were to "turn the other cheek". Revelation says "they shall beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning shears, nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more." If everyone practiced Christ-like neutrality, there would be no war, but no one, even most Christians, is willing to take the first step. That scripture is plastered on the UN building, but look at what they are doing lately, it's scary.

I am saddened that so many have little info on the Bible yet feel free to share it. Revelations was never intended to base our beliefs or convictions it is written as a "revelation" of the end of times. If they read through the entirety of the Bible they would see other times when GOD Himself leads nations to war, as well as in Eccl. "There is a time to kill and a time to let live." You cannot claim to live by the Bible and only accept the parts you like. Either take it all or leave it all! War is an unfortunate result of sin in the world but as a nation and a people we are alled to fight and defend our country and families. I am EXTREMELY proud of the men and women fighting for OUR freedom, without them we would live as those in China or pre Iraq. Don't enjoy our freedoms as a hypocrit and despise the means you are able to live in it! Abortion is murder against an innocent baby who as many have already said...defenseless. It is cowardice whether you accept it or not. Try murdering a one day old child, where is the difference between womb and delivery? I am concerned about anyone who cannot see a clear difference! Please consider these things and try to see how different the two issues really are?!

Abortion helped me in so many ways. I'm positive that it was the right choice and I'm not even sorry that it happened so, those who say that abortion is senseless or hurts women and makes them live lives of guilt are ignorant. It's just that most women who go on with their lives can't be bothered to deal with the hate and the ignorance from the pro-liars out there. You are right that they are hypocrites. Like the other answerer, I'm pro-choice and against 'the war' and all wars. The American soldiers make me sick and I certainly do not support the troops especially the ones out there 'just doing their job'.

I'm sorry but this question is so ignorant...yes people die in wars, waiting for the bus even. But getting yourself pregnant and then deciding to just "get rid of it" is sick. If you don't want kids, get yourself "fixed", if you waiting until your older...THEN WAIT, if your not responsible or old enough for the responsibilities of sex and motherhood then you aren't old enough plain and simple to be having sex. I know a 25 year old who stupidly got HERSELF pregnant and then went and "murdered it" the father was upset and had a massive breakdown. Regardless of war or murder etc...no one and I mean no one has the right to take someone else's life...from the moment they have a heart beat they are real live people try and prove otherwise. As a mother I'm surprised you feel so little towards an unborn child.
And OMG, because someone goes out and kills someone, you think(?) that its okay to go out and kill just the same...honey that is the most stupid ignorant thing I've heard.

i don't know about anyone else but i find it easier to kill people aiming guns at me or giving me bomb strapped hugs. those people will kill their own children to win war. thats evil. now, don't get me wrong, children dying is wrong, they aren't born that way, a person is taught violence. however, war is something that in my opinion is out of the hands of the average person, really, were you given the choice? i wasn't. when i was pregnant with my son abortion never crossed my mind, but if it did i would have had control over it to make it not happen. just as i would do if war were in my hands. your right it is murder, no one said war isn't. the whole point of war is simply that if it came down to it, would you shoot the child of another person to save the life of your own? the enemy will not show compasion to your family, they are murderers. its just a fact of life, kill or die. i would kill a hundred babies to save my one, call me a murderer. the difference between war and abortion is that a war has reason, it saves people, it makes us grateful to be here; safe. abortion helps no one, its senseless and cruel taking away someone's chance at life, what if we only have one? individual people abort babies, masses of people choose war. war on evil is different than war on pregnancy.

BTW: turn the other cheek is a phase used by hebrew slaves referring to the fact that when they were beated it was with the back of their agressors hand as an underling, turning their cheek would make the agressor hit them with their palm, as an equal. and if we want to get technical, the bible states that the jews were to smit the palistines from the earth so your bible doesn't want the middle-easterns either.

It's totally difference from abortion. The death penalty/war kills actual living human beings while abortion does not. It's insane to be "pro-life" and pro-death penalty/war.

I think the logic behind it has to do with, the unborn baby not even having a chance. As where the war started with adults who make their own choices. I used to be where I thought abortion was ok under certain circumstances, but I started reading on it and found out how its really done. It is a very scary thing and I hope that other people will educate themselves on it too. There are more humane ways to do things. Abortion and war are both very touchy subjects.

People join the military by "choice" both sides have a "fighting" chance of survival. If a woman/girl decides on abortion the unborn baby has no choice,no defense. And to the person that said theirs no profit in abortion.... do some research, the only thing not harvested and sold is the baby's cry!

maybe because they think they have a reason for doing what they are doing. I dont see a difference...the bible says 'thou shalt not kill' not 'thou shalt not kill unless....' and then give reasons. To me its all wrong...even the death peanalty...I mean whats the point of killing someone to teach them a lesson on killing? sorry...got off on a tangent there......
