unfortunately there aren't any good words to describe. it is more of a personal thing, but you just know. it isn't like a crush, which is often confused for love by especially younger people.
ok, so the people who have described love so far, are also describing infatuation & crushes... i got butterflies in my stomache & couldn't stop thinking about all the boys i had crushes on in school... but now i am married & in love... and it is nothing like that. it is so beyond deep. more than being willing to throw yourself in front of a moving vehicle to save them... more than any action or word can describe.
being in love isn't something that usually happens over a few weeks, but is something that takes longer than that, typically speaking. there isn't a one moment where you realize you are in love, but it happens over time and there isn't any place where infatuation stops & true love begins.

There's no real way of knowing. You just know. . .it's in your heart. . .your heart is already screaming at you that your in love and your either not listening or your not in love.. Your always thinking about them. And you miss them really really bad if they're not around. You long just to stare into their eyes. And you feel like your on cloud 9 with the mere mention of their name.

simple. think of the person you think you may be in love with and ask youself how you feel, and if somthign were to ahppen to them(if it was thir looks that grabed you, and he became terribly scared adn looked nothing like he did before)would you still ove them, would you take a bullet for them, if you knwo the answer in less than a split second, adn it has to be unconditional, you love thme, if theres a shadow of a doubt in your mind...then you must not be there yet.

You can't stop thinking about that person, ure always thinking in him/her, you are always staring at him/her, you blush when it says something and (if you are really deep in love) you'll feel jelousy if some one else is talking to your beloved one... hope it helps
