That would be animal cruelty. How would you like someone pointing them at you?

Yah I think so, if you put it in their face! My friends cat plays with laser pointers. They on it and point the laser at the floor the cat gets ready to pounce at it and has fun with it. But I think you shouldnt try that because you might accidently point it to the eye and it may become blind. I guess it would affect the brain because I guess it's the same risk as you staring at the microwave ( if you didnt know staring @ the microwave is not good for you!) If you think your cat has been affecteed by the laser then I advice you about taking you cat to the vet!!!

No, not unless they are already crazy! Just kidding. My cats love to chase the laser light; however, after I stop playing, they search for the light for a few minutes before they give up and go take a nap. Have fun, these are great stimulator's for your cats :-)

It can. Not to the point where your cat is actully going to go crazy but it can come to the point where whenever you cat sees ANY kind of light they will attack it. Such as the reflection from a car driving by or a cd. This can get really annoying because they will stop at nothing to attack the light!

no, my cats love their laser pointer. one of my cats is a little fat and it is great exercise for her to chase the light around. she does search for a bit after i quit playing, but she eventually gets interested in something else. I think it is a great tool to keep your pet in shape and having fun.

No way, I have never heard of it. If that was the case I would doubt pet stores would make and sell special lasers for kittys to play with!!

You will be the mental one when you put it away & they keep looking for it & meowing. They are good fun & excellent exercise for kitties.
