I really like a coworker of mine. Problem is last night we were at the bar having a few drinks when she told me that she had a secret to tell me. Unfortunetly for me the secret was not exactly what I wanted to hear. She told me that she is seeing another guy from work, however she hasn't told anyone else besides her mom and brother about this guy. . Then she tells me that she loves me and gives me a hug. I've never told her that I like her and until last night thought that she liked me too but now i'm pretty sure she is only looking for a friend. What should I do?

the problem is you hesitated instead of asking her out. she might even have waited for you then thought you werent interested then moved on. past is past. now the best thing to do is be happy for and stay her friend. you must be special if she shared that with you first so take heart. just dont do anything to sabotage it and you will always have a chance.

Ask her what she meant when she said she loves you.
Maybe she told you about this to get you off your a s s. You have done nothing to show her you care. But she loves you! Wake up and smell the roses.

I will continue being just friend. Great relationship is built by having a great friendship. If that doesn't work out, being just friends aren't as bad.

Be a friend. If her and the other guy don't work out, be waiting in the wings. Then don't be afraid to grab on and be honest with her about how you feel.
