I know it was like a by product of Warheads. But the candy was sour on the outside then sweet and in the middle it was fizzy. I cant for the life of me remember the name! i dunno if they even make them any more? And i remeber that like each flavor had a charecter that went along with it....

I know its not fizzies or warheads. i am pretty sure it started with a b...urgh! and i know they are newish because i am 18 and when i was in the sixth grade (13) warheads came out with a new product that i described.

I remember a fizzie candy called Pop Rocks. Don't know if they were a byproduct of warheads - I would have thought they predated warheads by a decade or so.
There was an urban legend that the boy who played Mikey on the commercial for Life cereal died because he ate pop rocks and drank Coke and the two created so much gas so quickly that he basically blew up. I think this was debunked probably, also, decades ago. That said, with all the people playing with Mentos and cola, I wonder......

the answer I beleive is "Fizzies" and they came along before Warheads. I used to get then in the early 70's

There is candy very similar to that, called Zots. They are not made by warheads, but if you are absolutely craving something of that sort then you should try it!
