I like the way that you think. I would pick the American prisoners over freeloading illegals anytime.

I have picked fruit, mopped floors and cleaned toilets, and have been a laborer in construction. When I lived in Denver, there were a lot of Americans and legal residents trying to work as sanitation workers, but the illegals were working for the private companies and were making were making $12.00/ hr to start. The illegals would then start their own companies and under bid and hire illegals at sub-minimal wage, plus charge them for expenses, such as hats with the company logo and they had no insurance. For some strange reason, their trucks were burned by arsonists, which were some of the same illegals that worked for them.
I also had the experience of standing in an area in Reno, Nevada, where illegals congregated to work day labor, because I was lay ed off, and did not want to go on unemployment. I got beat up by a bunch of them, because I was white, and they did not like that I was 'taking their jobs'.

I agree with Clyde! The people who hire immigrants have the public believing that they cant afford to pay Americans the legal wage because they cant make a profit! The sad truth is they want MORE profit! They arent happy with the measly 800 to 1000 percent profit! GREED is the word here and what needs to be done is to shut down any company who hires them! This is against the law to begin with! Why arent we arresting these people who run these companies? Let me give you an example of corporate greed....I worked in a switch manufacturing company a few years back and found out through much snooping what it cost to scrap out a product we made when it made it all the way to labeling and packaging. Cost: 25 cents. The same switch sold for 15 dollars on the shelf. The company decided to ship their factory to mexico because they didnt make enough profit here!

you answered your own question, but That business that Americans don't want low paying jobs is hog wash. That is all they could come up with. The Jobs that the Americans don't want are picking crops.
There are millions working in department stores and restaurants for minimum wages. They are Americans, not Mexican Invaders. They don't have the brains to think up anything that isn't based upon Sour grapes.
What about Cesar Chavez and is crowd. The American Unions did it all for him. He was just a Figurehead and no one knew it. My cousin was one of the Union Bosses that the AFL sent here to California from Ohio to run the show. That is how I know about it.

Your premise is wrong. There is no job classification where illegals are even close to being a majority. Not only will Americans do those jobs they already are.
What the illegals do is drive down wages for low or unskilled Americans by working for less. There's considerable evidence that this has no effect on prices as the difference is usually pocketed by the employer and doesn't go towards reducing costs and prices.
Rounding up illegals and sending them home will not be an economic disaster for America.
It will be a political disaster for Mexico as they'll suddenly have to actually face their poverty problem instead of exporting it.

There are stipulations for hiring at certain places. No is going to hire a convicted bank robber at a fast food place or something like that. Prisoners need to be in prison and not paid for what they do. That is their dept to society. No one should be hired if they are illegal, but immigrants should be able to work where ever they are qualified.

1- I would agree. It is true in all over the World that the native are not ready to accept works that immigrants accept them simply.
2- I regret that none of the universities in the World have studied about the "Great Moral Potential of an Immigrant"; it is unbelievable that as soon as a person like his/her homeland, gets hundred times braver than when he/she was in origin.
3- Just look who are in top of US corporations, a large number of Immigrants; Who was the First American Woman who went to Space in September 2006? Iranian Immigrant Woman, who started a simple computer business in USA; now she paid $20,000,000 US to Russian to have a tour in "Space"!
4- SO, today payments for immigrants is not an issue, AS THEY LOOK and have HOPE for Tomorrow!

Many of the jobs arent rejected by american workers that need the job. That is just an excuse for companies that want to hire illegals at cheaper wages. I think was should hang the creedy corporate slobs at the border.

So you are saying you would rather PAY from your TAX DOLLARS a hardened violent criminal to work in our streets and neighborhoods around our children simply because they are Americans?! How could that possibly make sense to anybody?
Are you ASSUMING that all ILLEGALS are murderers, rapists, child molesters and serial killers like the criminals you propose releasing or are you saying that their CRIME of being here illegally is WORSE than and proposes more of a THREAT to us than murderers and such? That is preposterous!
Do you think that possibly your "solution" might just ENCOURAGE many of OUR American citizens to become criminals??? Why not?! Free housing, free food, free education, free medical attention, and now a guaranteed JOB - ALL FROM OUR TAX DOLLARS!!!
Isn't that why so many of you are screaming about the illegals?! You are so afraid they are taking some of your precious tax dollars?

Another racist stereo-type from La Raza. Additionally, Our prison system is full of illegal aliens, and their families come to visit the prisons every week, several times a week. They have not left packing. In fact, many of these illegals family members introduce illegal drugs and other illegal contraband into the prisons.

Good thoughts!
Perhaps we could also place some of street gang members into the work field, making sure they're kept too busy to create any more issues.. or those who are concidering becoming gang members..
or maybe even help some of the homeless find jobs.. etc.
We need to take care of our people first, and after our people are back on their feet, then extend this help elsewhere.
Again, good thoughts! Thank you!
