My b/f told me I was the most beautifu woman he'd ever been with. Is this something you just toss out there or could it have merit. (I'm no dog mind you and I have heard this before- which is why I ask)

NOO!! if he is in love with you (i mean not just infatuated and telling you that right before he has sex with you for the first time) and says you are most beautiful woman he has ever been with..then it is true! love him for it!! i told my last gf that she was gorgeous and beautiful all the time....she was too.... a prom queen and a natural beauty..but since her previous bf told her she wasnt, she was insecure as can be and didnt believe me and thought that i only told her that bc that is what bfs do....well, after 3 and 1/2 years telling that.. she still didnt believeme!...man was she something....but dont let this happen to you for his sake! he means it!

It begs the question; is this guy the most beautiful man you've been with?

Words are cheap... I wouldn't toss this out there unless it has value. The only value it has for now is to make you feel good- don't take it anymore than what it is.

Validation is good but don't look for it in other people. Live through a series of experience and decide for yourself.

I believe that it is a genuine statement but it IS influenced by the current relationship you are in. When someone is 'in love' there perception can be a little 'off'.

If he is STILL saying this 5 years later then it probably is absolutely true!

A lot of guys use that line, just like a lot of girls will say "you're the best I've ever had."

However, that doesn't mean it's definitley a lie...if you're a couple years into it, it could actually be true...

it has merit, it might not be the complete truth but do you expect your bf to tell you that you are ugly. its along the lines of a white lie and if you are giving you bf heat for it then you should ease up on him

My question to you is: do you believe that your boyfriend was telling you the truth or do you think that he was just saying it to say it and to get into your pants? The answer to this question is based on the type of guy that your boyfriend is.

No, when you are in love a woman can seem more attractive than she would otherwise.

I guess that's how the bonding process works.
