this morning before breakfast i was just sitting and enjoying my coffee when i got a knock at the door.
it was two j.w.'s and when i told them (politely i might add)
i was not interested and tried to close the door one of them put his foot in the door. (lucky for him i am a morning person)
my question is this... is this common with the j.w.'s? or did i just happen to get a particularly dumb and agressive one?

he was lucky i was in a good mood.
i am a very large and strong man and he could have lost his foot.

You have had these kind of problems before. The pushiness you are experiencing from this particular group is something I have never experienced. In fact I find it not only odd but a bit frightening as well.
I think perhaps the time has come for you to use actions other than politeness.

I have never had this happen with a j.w. before. They just say ok and leave when I tell them that I am not interested. I did have a vaccum cleaner salesman do that to me years ago. He did it to the storm door not the wooden door. My husband pulled up in the yard about that time and he was lucky he was able to leave.

I have never had that happen. However, if the door is open I stare and say nothing, as I close the door.
Behold, two JW's stand at the door and knock. Whosoever closeth the door, the JW's will stand there for a minute then leave.

You need to be really creative to get rid of them. Tell them your a satanist, ask them if they have found Goddess, offer them a beer and burp in their face. I have the Wiccan creed on the front door, they read it and don't even knock!

u repel them thru front door they come back thru back door
