We all have the staph bacteria in our body. A pimple is caused by the staph bacteria and so is a boil or carbuncle or furnuncle. You can also have a staph infection in a wound. Staph basically refers to a kind of bacteria. Sypmtoms of an infection of any kind would be pain, swelling at the site, reddness, drainage if the wound opens and possibly a low grade temperature.

Symptoms of Staph: A abscess, a cyst, low grade fever, general feeling of fatigue, redness at sight, pus, drainage, pain, foul or offensive smell (this is a late stage), Sometimes symptoms are as mild as just not feeling yourself. If your experiencing any of these symptoms. Make an appt. ASAP, with your physician. If you are having significant symptoms now, go to the nearest emergency room. Staph is an infection you don't want to play around with. For we are having less and less success treating it with antibiotics, for Staph is becoming resistant to Antibiotics. Thanks for the opportunity to address such an intelligent and worthwhile question.
