The west coast of P. R. is a common illegal immigration route to enter the USA. The Dominicans and Haitians, in the majority of the cases, are treated like criminals and the Cubans like heroes when they arrive to the USA territory. The Dominicans ended in deportation, if they survive the sea travel, and the Cubans in Florida with a secured American citizenchip. I have Cubans and Dominicans friends and I don't agree with this policy.

What I don't understand is how are the Cubans aloud in this country and my haitian relatives aren't??? I don't have anything against Cubans but I'm sorry I thought in America everyone was considered equal???

I guess when Americans wake up and see that the country we are leaving for our Children and Grandchildren is in the crapper because we were to lazy to boot these illegals out it will be to late to do anything about it.
We have trusted our leaders to do the right thing and they have not. Yet I am sure that on election day we will go and vote for the very same sorry ones again.
I guess everyone is just fine to sit and watch these illegals protest for their rights as TRESPASSERS in our streets. Watch them take our COuntry and way of life away. Steal our Childrens Education and Birth right away.
As long as we have ours, we dont care. I think we need to do a protest of our own and show our leaders what a day with out an American would be like.
Maybe then they would sit up and listen to us.
Nothing is going to change until we make our voice heard in Wasington and across the border.
Who can come up with a date and then can we stand up and be heard?
Is there anyone out there that cares enough about our Country and way of life to stand up and do something? Or are we just going to sit around our computers and see who can be the one to complain and make suggestions that are true feelings but just cant be done.
Are there any true Americans out there. Our country is under seige, it is being taken over by ILLEGAL TRESPASSERS.

An illegal immigrant is an illegal immigrant. The Cubans may get better treatment because they are regarded as Communist defectors, but you are right, that really shouldn't matter because the Cubans aren't escaping any life threatening regime so shouldn't get sanctuary.

no the cubans are no better than mexicans or any other people but the us government does do them big favors when they get here. i was stationed in cuba for three years at gtmo bay and we would fly a plane load to miami about twice a month. they all got a new wardrobe and spending money and a home when we drop them off in miami

I don't know much about P.R and Dominicans I just know that my husband (Mexican) and had a hell of a time even getting him a perm resedent card so to anyone going through INS for anything good luck,

I don't think so. Cubans are illegal. They should stop them from coming. I mean Cuba is hell for them, but the thing is that for them to come and then protest that they want rights in America is unjust. And I'm truly emphasizing that.

Cubans at least appreciate being here,they are not like the whining mexican illegals that think this country is their personal welfare bank,mexicans come over here because their own government is doing nothing for them,but as soon as they fill their fat bellies over here they start praising that same government.
